Marquita Lynette Myers, 51, of Mountville, passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2016, of natural causes. Marquita was born in Lancaster to Audrey Myers and the late Dale L. Brown. Marquita attended Bright Side Baptist Church and loved life. She greatly enjoyed being with her family, but more than anything else, loved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and watching others eat her delicious meals. She was an avid card player and loved dancing. In addition to her mother, Marquita is survived by her children: Marquisha Myers, of Lancaster; Tianna Myers, of Lancaster; Kurtis Owens, Jr., husband of Zakia, of Lancaster, and William Owens, Sr., of Lancaster. She is also survived by 7 siblings: Frank Corbin, Milford Springer, Jr., Dorothea Alexander, Ada Corbin, Neena Jordan, Kevin Thomas, and Karen Seals. She also leaves behind 23 grandchildren. Marquita was preceded in death by her sister, Adrianna Springer and maternal grandparents: Elsie and Aubrey Myers and paternal grandparents: Mary Francis Brown and Sam Butler. Funeral Services for Marquita will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11AM at Bright Side Baptist Church, 515 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10-11AM.
