Marlin R. Linn, 72, of Lancaster, formerly of Liverpool, PA, passed away on September 30, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Liverpool, he was the son of the late Charles & Virginia (Criley) Linn. Marlin was the husband of Carol Linn. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served during the Vietnam War era. Marlin worked in fabrication for 36 years with Frank Goodhart Sons Inc. He loved animals, flowers, gardening & nature. Surviving in addition to his wife, Carol, are 2 brothers: Charles "Dick" Linn of Newport & Ken Linn of Liverpool; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Goldie (Hopple) Linn; and 2 sisters: Geneva R. Tenney & Thelma Zaring. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Riverview Burial Park, S. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA with Military Honors rendered by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard & Vet 21 Salute Team.
