Mark R. Palmer, age 67 of Lititz, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, Mark was the son of the late Elmer M. and Anna Mae (Miller) Palmer, Sr.

Mark attended Warwick School district and graduated from Warwick High School. During his high school years, he worked part time as a custodian for the high school and after graduating, became full time. He was a huge supporter and fan of Warwick sports.

Mark was known for his deep affection for animals. His compassion extended to furry friends of all shapes and sizes. His kindness knew no bounds and he would often go out of his way to care for animals in need. His connection with animals reflected his gentle and giving nature.

One of the most cherished aspects of Mark's legacy was his role as the neighborhood Santa Claus. Every holiday season, he would don the iconic red suit and spread joy to children and families in the community. His generosity knew no bounds, and his portrayal of Santa Claus brought smiles to the faces of countless children.

Mark will be remembered not only for his dedication to his work and his passion for Warwick sports but also for the warmth and generosity he shared with everyone around him. His selflessness and caring nature have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mark is survived by his brother, Elmer M. Palmer, Jr. of Reading, PA.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Longenecker Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 642 Temperance Hill Rd, Lititz, PA. 17543, at 11am.
