Marjorie A Herr, 76, of Lancaster, died Friday at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Dennis Lauer. She worked in the office at Business Press for 29 years and retired after 16 years of service at the Lancaster County Court House in the voter registration department.

Marjorie was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Guys and Dolls, St. Philip's Auxiliary, and Sacred Heart Academy Alumni Association and she went to the USO.

Surviving is her husband, Donald C. Herr and they would have been married fifty years in November.

Funeral services will be held at St Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster on Wednesday, Oct 17, 2007 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10-11:00AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
