Marion A. Marlett, 91, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Mennonite Home. She was the wife of the late Donald E. Marlett who passed away in 2009. Born in Tifton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Maude Ammons Aultman. Marion earned both her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Masters Degree in Education from Millersville University. She had been a 4th grade teacher at Smoketown Elementary School for 30 years. She was, along with her late husband, a Life Master world class bridge player, playing and traveling all over the world. She enjoyed dancing, watching sports on television and crossword puzzle. Marion is survived by her sons: Donald married to Gloria Marlett of Rochester, NY, Paul married to Judy Marlett of Conestoga, and James married to Marlene Marlett of Holtwood; her 5 grandchildren and her 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 7 siblings. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 9:30-10:30AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment in Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
