Marion P. DeMatt, 85, of Lancaster,  died Tuesday night, October 31, 2006, at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Catherine Valentino Paparo. Marion was the wife of Michael N. DeMatt who died in 1994.

Mrs. DeMatt was a homemaker and previously was a sales lady at Sachs and Logan's in Lancaster. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and going to the Casinos.

Surviving is a son, Lorenz E. Bretz Jr. of Reading; a daughter, Michele K. Madden of Fort Myers, FL; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two sisters: Mary Frahm of Mt. Holly, N.J. and Margaret Jackson of Lancaster.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, PA on Monday at 11:00AM. Interment in St Anthony Catholic Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00-11:00AM.
