Marion S. Clare, 83, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on December 15, 2014 at Brethren Village Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Marion Shopf. Marion was the loving wife of Jack M. Clare. Together, they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on December 12. Marion was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was very social and loved cooking for people. She also enjoyed working at the family business, Jack M. Clare & Son. Marion was a lifetime member of Covenant United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Marion is survived by two sons: Michael Clare (Candace Boyd) and Daniel Clare (Laurie); and four grandchildren: Michael D. Clare (Nancy), David D. Clare, Alexander Clare (Laura) and Lindsey Clare. Family and Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to follow on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will take place at Riverview Burial Park.
