Marilyn Jean Skeppstrom, 66, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home on Monday, August 5, 2013. Born in Des Plaines, IL, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Mary Ann Weber Skeppstrom.

Marilyn worked as a Registered Nurse at many hospitals and Doctor's offices over the years. She was a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church, and recently attended Hempfield Brethren In Christ Church.

Surviving are her daughters Michele Dawn Weaver Miller, wife of Gary, Conestoga, and April Lynette, wife of Rich Bowermaster, Lancaster; grandchildren Samantha and Brody Bowermaster and Emi (Lou) Miller; and brothers Dick, Curt, Craig, and Dale.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 12, 2013, at Hempfield Brethren In Christ Church, 2600 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA, with Pastor Greg Taylor officiating. Visitation with the family from 9:00-10:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
