Marie A. Reichwein, 74, of 344 Long Meadow Road, Lancaster, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Port Carbon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Marian Blickley Schmidt. Marie was married to Paul J. Reichwein for 54 years.

Mrs. Reichwein was a secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, and was a member of St John Neumann Catholic Church.

Surviving besides her husband is a daughter, Margaret J., wife of John P. Gorham of Kingston, PA; a son, Paul C., husband of Barbara A. Reichwein of East Petersburg, PA; two grandchildren: Jennifer, wife of Brian Krypel of Forty Fort, PA; and John Jr., husband of Tracey Gorham of Kingston, PA; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Charles F. Snyder Jr, Funeral Home and Chapel , 3110 Lititz Pike , Lititz, PA on Saturday from 9:00-10:00AM.
