Marie T. Ray, 89, of Willow Street, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy.

Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, Marie was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Marie (Pompa) Nolli. She graduated from the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan.

Marie shared 62 years of marriage with her husband Stanley R. Ray before his death on August 7, 2015.

A homemaker, Marie enjoyed cooking, music, and playing the guitar. She was an accomplished artist, she crocheted, and knitted blankets for all the babies in her family.

Marie's surviving family includes her son Michael S. Ray, husband of Nancy of Willow Street, two daughters, Christine M., wife of Silvano Giannini of New Providence, and Katherine, wife of Michael Pastorino of Millersville, and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings.

Services will be private.
