Marie C. Messimer passed away on July 7, 2017. Born in Clifton Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Mary E. (Acomb) Cushing. She was the loving wife of the late Chandler "Chan" Messimer. Marnie attended Centenary College in NJ for her undergraduate studies. She enjoyed reading historical novels, and traveling from New England to the West Coast. Marnie appreciated collecting antiques and acquired quite a collection during her life such as American Bellflower Pressed Pattern Glass of the 19th Century. She is survived by 2 children: Peter (Susan) Messimer of Millersville; Ann Messimer of Lancaster. In addition she is also survived by 1 Grandchild: Hillary (Derek) Frymire of Doylestown and 1 Great-grandchild: Sophie Benzel Frymire. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
