Marie A. Ward, 78, of Lancaster was called home on May 10, 2009 by her Lord. God's Garden must be beautiful because he always takes the best. Born in Frackville, PA, Marie was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary White Gidjunais.

She was retired from Hamilton Technology and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Surviving are her three children; Deborah L. Ward of Lancaster, Robert T. husband of Rita Ward of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Pamela M. Ward of Philadelphia, PA and a grandson Derek Ward of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne' Catholic Church, North Duke and Liberty Streets, Lancaster on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11:00AM. with Rev Norman Hohenwarter, and Rev Peter Hahn , as co celebrants Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Busman, PA.
