Mariano Cruz, Jr., 34, of Elkton, MD, formerly of Lancaster, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Milagros Martinez.

Mariano will always be remembered for his generosity and kindness to everyone. He loved to joke around and was always happy. A fearless person, there was nothing that would shake his confidence. Mariano loved to listen to all kinds of music and enjoyed playing baseball. The most important thing to him was his family who he loved with all his heart. In addition to his mother, he will be sadly missed by his best friend and companion, Shamil Mantilla; his 2 children Boo-Boo and Taty; and his siblings: Jessica, Ishell, Junito, and Kenia.

Family and friends will be received from 6PM to 8PM, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Tabernacle of Reunion Pentecostal Church, 432 Pershing Ave., Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will precede the service at the church from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
