Obituary

Marianne L. (Lombardo) Robertson, 86, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at The Glen at Willow Valley. She was the loving wife of the late John Robertson, who passed away in 2007. Born in Lancaster, Marianne was the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Caterbone) Lombardo.

She grew up attending St. Mary's Grade School and church, and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School, class of 1945.

Marianne formerly lived in Stamford, Connecticut where she worked as an Executive Secretary for Bank of America. She was a former member of St. Bridget Catholic Church, Stamford, CT. In her free time, she enjoyed to travel with her mother and husband.

Marianne is survived by her brother, Joseph Lombardo, husband of Gail of Lancaster, nephews George Mastromatteo, James Mastromatteo, and Michael Mastromatteo, all of Lancaster, and several great nieces. Marianne was preceded in death by her brother Samuel Lombardo, and two sisters, Jenny Lombardo and Catherine Mastromatteo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 16, 2013, at 10AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603 with The Rev. Leo M. Goodman, III as Celebrant. A viewing will be held 9-10AM at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, South Central PA Chapter, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9638, or to a charity of your choice.
