Marian Alice Jaeger Stanton, age 93, passed away peacefully at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania on April 28, 2023. Born on June 17, 1929 in Paterson, NJ to Anna Weber Jaeger and Frederick Jaeger, Marian married Donald C. Stanton, Sr. on September 19, 1948 and they lived in Sussex, NJ for many years where Donald built and Marian operated Marian's Beauty Salon.

Marian is survived by three children: daughters Patricia and husband Steve Wolf, Alice McCabe and husband Scott, and son, Donald and wife Terri. Marian also leaves grandchildren: Thomas Stanton and wife Kimberley, Brian Stanton and wife Crystal Norris, Christopher Stanton, Justin Dushkewich and fiancé Laura Potter, Joshua Dushkewich, Andrew Morrissey and fiancé Brianna Mahrer, Alicia Morrissey and fiancé Daniel Kinee; great-grandchildren: Caleb Stanton, Ian Williams, Jonathan and Zachary Stanton, Kevin and Easton Wolf, and Ethan Owings, along with many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Marian was predeceased by her brothers Henry (Barney), John, and Frederick (Fritz) Jaeger.

Marian was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hamburg, NJ for many years before moving to Jacksonville with her husband, where they joined Shephard of the Woods Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, FL. She moved to Lancaster County, PA, near her daughter, Alice, early in 2022. Marian enjoyed time with her family, especially her many grandchildren, and friends who have since passed; she was dog lover, enjoyed flower gardening, reading biographies, ice skating, and skiing.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hospice & Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552 or Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran School, 7860 Southside Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32257. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM, Monday, May 8, 2023, at Eternity Funeral Home, 4856 Oakdale Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. Interment will follow.
