Marian F. Chalfant, 86, passed away on August 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 63 years, David Chalfant. Born in Maryland, Marian was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Cole. She was preceded in death by a sister Jean and a brother Robert. Marian was a homemaker most of her life. She was known for her cooking and enjoyed going to the shore with her family. She had worked for the Schick Corp. after her children had grown. In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by her daughter, Debra J. Chalfant and her sons: David married to Linda Chalfant and J. Patrick married to Donna Chalfant; her grandchildren Anthony, Matthew, Rebecca, Michael, Willie, and Max and by her great grandchildren Alyssa, Hunter, Bella, and Bentley. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 1-2PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 2PM. Interment will be private
