Marian E. (Hershey) Aungst, 87, passed away at Juniper Village on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was married in 1993 to Harry S. Aungst, who passed on October 4, 2021.

Born in Strasburg Township on August 8, 1937, on her mother's birthday, she was the daughter of the late Torrey B. Hershey and Verna (Shultz) Hershey.

Marian is survived by a brother Paul Hershey, husband of Susanne, and a sister Alma J., wife of Harold J. Hershey, four nieces, one nephew, four stepchildren, Linda A. Bride, Robert K. Aungst (Phyllis), Marcia Heigel (Keith), and Lisa Crouse (David).

She had various office jobs and enjoyed playing piano by ear, reading, playing games, and traveling. Marian volunteered at Mount Joy Gift & Thrift.

Marian attended Word of Life Chapel in Bainbridge.

Marian's family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Bachman Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 7 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579. A graveside service will follow at 2:15 pm in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery.
