Maria R. Santiago Rosado, 78, of Lancaster, was welcomed into the gates of Heaven, July 31, 2023. Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Julio J. and Maria R. Rosado Santiago. She was the loving wife of Rafael Santiago until his passing last year.

Moving to Pennsylvania in 1993, she became a member of San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, where she remained a devout member. She frequently volunteered for the church and with the Spanish American Community Association.

Her family fondly remembers the memories they shared with her at social gatherings, holiday parties, or just spending time together at her home. She loved life and taking care of people, especially through her cooking. She was an avid BINGO player and enjoyed playing Dominoes.

Maria will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her love will live on in her children, Maribet Leon, wife of John of Lancaster, and Rafael "Rico" Santiago of New Holland; grandchildren, Kevin, Machito, Mabelyne, Jasmin, Joshua, Amanda, Aramis, and Alize, as well as a host of great grandchildren and extended family. She was preceded in passing by her daughter, Milagros "Millie" Santiago; grandchildren, Javier A. Garcia, Jr., Baby Jav, Aiden Orion Santiago, and Lumi Phoenix Santiago and siblings, Heriberto, Iris, and Auria.

The family will welcome friends and family to a viewing from 6-8PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 9 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke St. Lancaster, PA, with a viewing from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass. Interment to follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
