Maria Camerino, 94, of Lititz passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Brethren Village. She was the wife of the late Michael Camerino with whom she immigrated to New York in 1949. Born in Baselice, Italy she was a daughter of the late Michael and Teresa (Cormano) Paolozza. Maria retired from the New York Public School System where she worked in the school cafeteria for many years. She was a member of the Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Ephrata and loved playing Bingo, cooking, working in her garden and listening to opera music especially the 3 Tenors. Maria is survived by two sons Alfred M. Camerino husband of Eileen of Yonkers, NY and Dr. Edward G. Camerino husband of Yeonok of Lititz and three grandchildren Samantha, Dr. Eugene and Natalie Camerino. She was the last of her immediate family being preceded in death by six siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11AM from the Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522 with Fr. John McLoughlin, CSSR as celebrant. Interment will be held in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 7-9PM from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz, PA 17543 and from 10-11AM on Friday at the Church.
