Maria Archevald, 69, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2025. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Leopoldo Archevald and Miguelina Perez. She was the beloved wife of the late Angel L. Colon and a devoted mother to her daughter, Gimell Colon.

Maria was a woman of strength and resilience, never allowing hardship to dim her spirit. She was a God-fearing woman and a dedicated member of Casa De Alabanza church. She had a love for dancing and found joy in watching TikTok videos, especially those her daughter made.

She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Gimell, and her brother Agustín O'Neill-Perez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Her church community, whom she worshiped alongside, will deeply miss her warmth and unwavering faith.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share memories from 4:00 PM until the time of service.

Maria's strength, love, and faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
