Margarita Plaza, 59, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, Margarita was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed being with her family and enjoyed their activities together.

She was a devoted member of San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, where she helped with cooking, assisted at the Church festival and visited church members who were in the hospital.

She is survived by her children: Joubeth Saez Plaza and Yenimar Saez fiancée of Luis Palma; her daughter in law Andalina Diaz, and her two beloved grandchildren: JJ Plaza and Gabriella Colon. She is also survived by her siblings: Alicea, Dr. Manuel, Santos, Justo, Oscar, Tony, Mery, Lizeth, and Elena. She was preceded in death by her brother Daniel and her sister, Maria Judy.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 730PM-9PM at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke St., Lancaster, PA and again on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 9-10AM, with the Mass to follow at 10AM. Interment in Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery.
