Margarita Guevara, 75, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Jesus Guevara and the late Luogia Almovar Flecha. She was the longtime companion of Manuel "Shorty" Ortiz who passed away March 19, 2018. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Israel Vega. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12Noon on Monday, April 23, 2018 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke St, Lancaster, PA with Rev. Allan Wolfe as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10AM-12Noon at the church on Monday.
