Margaret E. "Peggy" Dorsi, 79, of Lancaster, formerly of Brentwood, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Hospice of Lancaster County. She was the wife of Cary A. Dorsi, to whom she was married 54 years.

Born in Bronx, NY, on October 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret Ferguson. She was a sales manager for over 30 years at Macy's in Bay Shore, NY. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her joy.

In addition to her spouse Cary, Peggy will be lovingly missed by her children: daughter Denise, wife of Paul M. Rossi, son John Dorsi and daughter Bity, wife of John Marquette; by her grandchildren: Brianne Muscatelli, Michael and Christopher Rossi and Nicholas, Matthew and Stephen Marquette; and by her siblings Rosemary Martin and Charles Ferguson.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, March 7, 2011, at 10:30 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA, with The Rev. S.T. Antony Raja as Celebrant. Viewings will be held on Sunday, from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
