Margaret M. "Peg" Heine, 71, of Lancaster, PA passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She and her husband John J. Heine celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past July. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Cole) Streeper.

Margaret retired from Hamilton Watch Co. after 25 years of service. Her lifelong goal, which she achieved, was raising a loving family. Her strength was her faith and family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, the south Jersey beaches and her dogs.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lancaster.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Margaret M., wife of James Rhoads, of Elizabethtown, Donna, wife of Douglas Ressler, of Lancaster, Carol, wife of David Wickenheiser, of Lancaster and Elizabeth Heine, of Willow Street. Also surviving 5 grandchildren; John Gary Heine, Caitlin Grau, Patrick and Eric Ressler, Jeffrey Metz, and 4 great-granddaughters as well as extended nieces and nephews and family in Philadelphia and Phoenix, AZ.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM on Monday, September 30, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St, Lancaster, PA 17603 with Msgr. Thomas H. Smith as Celebrant. Friends will be received from 9:30-11AM at the church on Monday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
