Margaret "Peggy" Mary Sandano, 75, retired, passed away at her Aberdeen, NC home surrounded by her daughters and daughter's partner on Friday, July 28, 2023.

Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Druscilla Kress, partner of Brian Freitag, Jaclyn P. Mister, partner of Chris Bennett, all residing in North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Austin Ulmer, partner of Gabriella Minnich, Kasey Stonecipher, husband to Tovah, Lana McCormick, Ashlynn McCormick, Cassandra Mister; 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Paulette Miller, Dorothy Stapler, Roseanne Huddleston, and Irene Rothaar; and her best friend since the 9th grade, Patricia "Aunt Patty" Brazill. She was predeceased by her husband William Sandano, and her parents Paul and Margaret Loss.

Peggy was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 5, 1947, she would have celebrated her 76th birthday. She graduated from J.P McCaskey High School in 1966. She was an administrative secretary for the County of Lancaster, having worked for Lancaster County Prison and MHMR. Peggy was a loving and devoted wife to William for many years, loved her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much and enjoyed having the family gathered on a weekly basis for dinners. Peggy was a kind-hearted, spiritual person who loved to help anyone and everyone she could. She will be deeply missed by all.

The viewing is scheduled from 10-11am on August 4, 2023, followed by the funeral at 11 am with Chaplain Mark Thiboldeaux officiating at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. A graveside service at Conestoga Memorial Park to follow.
