Margaret Lois Snyder, 95, of Willow Street, PA, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Lakes Campus at Willow Valley.

Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mildred (Martin) Manifold. She was the wife of the late Russell W. Snyder, to whom she was married for 49 years.

Lois was a graduate of Temple University, where she earned her degree in nursing. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a registered nurse, a profession she truly loved. She was the head nurse of the Obstetrics department for 15 years. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster and a former devoted member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Lewes, Delaware where she was a long-term member of the choir. Lois had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She especially cherished the opportunity to sing duets with her husband Russell in church. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and playing cards. Above all, Lois cherished time spent with her family, who brought her great joy throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Susan (Douglas) Rost, John (Kathy) Snyder, and Stephanie (Frank) Mayhorn; her sister, Barbara (Arthur) Bair; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Matthew Rost; her brothers, Rodney and Donald Manifold; and her son, David Snyder.

Friends and family will be received from 11AM to 11:30AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Lakes Auditorium on the 4th floor, at 300 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Street, PA 17584. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 11:30AM.
