Margaret E. Kieley, 57, of Pequea, PA entered into rest to be with our Lord on Monday, February 22, 2010 at her home. Born on November 5, 1952 in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late John J. Kieley and Agnes M. (Kubala) Kieley. She is preceded in death by her sister, Pat Alexander of Lancaster and brother, John J. Kieley, Jr., husband of Barbara W., of Willow Street.
She was a member of Historic St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Margaret was a 1970 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.
She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, country music, the beach, the mountains, and her large family. Margaret was a loving sister, doting Aunt, loyal friend, animal lover, and gentle spirit who appreciated all nature.
Margaret will be greatly missed by her brother Paul J. Kieley, wife of Grace, of Leola, six sisters, Susan Bowser, of Willow Street, Mary Jane Murr, of Lancaster, Elizabeth Harting, wife of Thomas, of Lampeter, Catherine Goncalves, of Lancaster, Theresa Matthew, of Lancaster, and Barbara Benedict-Underhill, wife of James, of Willow Street.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Historic St. Mary's Catholic Church 119 S. Prince St. Lancaster, PA 17603 on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 10am with Rev. John Acri as Celebrant. A closed casket visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 8:30am until the time of Mass. Final farewell and commendation will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Margaret's memory be sent to the brave and diligent fire services that fought so unselfishly. Thank you all who helped and God bless you all.
