Margaret Maher Kennedy, 90 of Lititz, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Moravian Manor, Lititz, of natural causes. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Kennedy, Jr. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Kennedy resided in Levittown for 30 years before moving to Lititz. She was employed by the New Jersey Department of Corrections as a secretary. Margaret was a member of St. John Neumann, Lancaster. She is survived by her three sons: Robert J. of Lititz, PA, Joseph R. of Radford, VA, and Richard D. of West Grove, PA; a cousin, Clare O'Such of Monroe Township, NJ. Margaret has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-brother, Lewis Welsh, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. A viewing will take place from 10:30-11:30 AM at the church. Interment will be held at 3: 00 PM on Wednesday at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Trenton, NJ 08610. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
