Margaret I. (Hughes) Sweigart, 92, of Lancaster, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Manor Care in Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late Lloyd M. Sweigart, who died August 28, 2000. She was the daughter of the late William and Rose Hughes. Margaret was employed as an assembler by Hubley Toys for a number of years until her retirement. She loved to pass time working crossword puzzles and reading, and was known by friends and family for her excellent cooking skills. She will be missed by those who were blessed to have known her. Margaret is survived by a sister, Rosa Flores of Lancaster; a niece, Joan A. Knosp and her husband Karl of Lancaster; and a great-nephew, Kyle Knosp of Attica, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
