Margaret C. Gohn, 102, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, September 12, 2008 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Foehlinger) Ellicker. She was the wife of the late J. Hoffman Gohn who died in 1957.

Margaret worked as a seamstress for Mrs. Todd's Draperies. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church for 62 years.

Margaret is survived by 2 sons, Donald C. Gohn, husband of Mary, of Lancaster, and Joseph J. Gohn, husband of Marcia, of Kernersville, NC, a daughter, Rose Marie Shirk of  Lancaster, 14 grand children, 23 great grand children, and 5 great great grand children. She is preceded in death by 2 children, William Gohn and Madeline Booth, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church 929 North Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602  with Rev. Norman C. Hohenwarter as celebrant. Friends and Family will be received 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz 17543. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
