Margaret Cole, 88, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2011. She was the loving wife of Earl Cole for 64 years.

Margaret was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Lynbrook, New York. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she led Bible studies, taught Sunday School, drove for Meals on Wheels, and helped whomever she could. Upon moving to Lititz in 1989, she joined and was active in Salem Lutheran Church. Margaret loved to travel with her husband and friends to countries such as Russia, Italy, Greece, France, England, and Liberia. She was also an avid gardener and reader.

In addition to her husband, she will be deeply missed by her two daughters: Carol, married to Clovice Lewis Jr., and Janice, married to Garry Swift; three grandchildren: Jessi married to Steve Payne, LCpl Maxx Juusola, and Heather Swift; her sister Rose Quinto; and her "adopted" son Tim Sweeney married to Pamela, and their children Caitlin and Sean.

A Memorial Service will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Lititz on Friday, March 18 at 1pm.
