Manuel Vargas Torres, 81, of Lancaster, passed away at home on Sunday, October 30, 2022 with his family by his side. Born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Isaiah Vargas and Ines Torres. He was the loving husband of Serafina Rodriguez.

Manuel always had a great way to view life. He loved to live to the fullest. Family was his priority. He enjoyed playing Dominoes and spending time with friends and family. He loved his life and knew how to live it.

In addition to his wife, Serafina, Manuel is survived by his daughters, Madelin, Marines, and Desenia; his brother, Damian Vargas; as well as 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Beatriz, Jorge, Israel, Genovina and Anibal.

A Funeral Service will take place at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Thursday, November 3, 2022. A Viewing will take place from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, with service immediately following at 12:00 PM. Committal will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
