M. Virginia Spitz (aka Ginger or Ginny), 83, who was a longtime resident of Savannah, GA died on Friday, March 10, 2023 in Lancaster, PA after living a full and exciting life. She loved to travel, and loved getting together with her friends and family.

Born in Savannah, GA she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Jonnie Mae Spitz. She was also preceded in death by her sister Ruth E. Gabler.

Ginny was a graduate of Commercial High School, class of 1957. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Glens Falls Insurance Co., Palmer & Cay, Hunter Army Airfield, 165th ANG and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Ginny is survived by nieces Dawn M. Fox (Woody) of PA and Darlene M. Gabler of PA, and a nephew Raymond A. Gabler (Lee) of MD. Also, a great niece and two great nephews, as well as her dear friend, Lisa Ciolek.
