M. Eleanor Henderson, 94, of Green Creek, NJ formerly of Lancaster, PA passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Cape May Court House, NJ. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Henderson who passed away in 1982. Born in Lancaster, PA she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle (Huber) Evans. Eleanor worked at Hamilton Watch Company in Lancaster for many years prior to her retirement and enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her two grandsons John M. Yohn husband of Tara with whom she made her home and Eric C. Fabian of Villas, NJ; five great-grandchildren Katlynn Saunders, Brittany Walton, Eric Fabian, Triniti Birdsell and Julius Little; two sisters Mignon wife of Benjamin Bowman and Annette Schlinder both of Lancaster, PA. Eleanor was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn S. Fabian and two brothers Mark and John Evans. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 1PM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551. Interment will be held in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery next to her late husband Charles. A viewing will be held one hour prior from 12:00PM until the time of her service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd.
