Lydia M. (Taggert) Milburn, 78, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 24 th , 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Fairfield PA, she was the daughter of late Harry Edward and Mary Ellen (Smith) Taggert. Lydia was the wife of the late Robert P. Milburn.
Mrs. Milburn was employed by RCA and made tubes for 49 years. She was a member of Crossroads Mennonite Church.
Surviving are two daughters Rose, married to Leroy Dupree and Margaret Milburn both of Lancaster, fourteen grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, three sisters, Agnes Owen, Dorothy Hayward, Laura, married to Charles Grey all of Lancaster, one brother, Howard I. Taggert of Lancaster. Lydia was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Charles Milburn.
Services will be held on Saturday May 31 st , 2008 at the Crossroads Mennonite Church 420 South Christian Street, Lancaster, PA. 17602 at 11AM. There will be a viewing at the church from 10AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements by the Charles F.
