Luis A. Perez, 81, of Middletown, formerly of Lancaster, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juana Perez. He was the husband of Elsie Perez.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Gloria Perez, Lissette Perez, Stephanie Perez, and Luis Perez Sr. and his wife Maydin Perez. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Gloribelle Aponte, Ashley Aponte, Marcus Rosado Sr., Chaveliz Perez, Luis Perez Jr, Andrew Perez, Carlos Perez, Isaiah Ray, Caylee Gudger, Miggy Nieves Leslie Abreu and 11 great grandchildren: Izabella Holland, Sophia Machuca, Yandel Nieves, Marcus Rosado Jr., Gloriana Christopher, Mila Christopher, Kaiden Rosado, Juliana Perez, Luis Perez III, Manny Roman and Gabriel Hiraldo.

Funeral Services for Luis will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. A Viewing will be held from 7-9PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602 and again on Wednesday from 1-2PM at the funeral home on Wednesday.
