Lucille E. Rheault, 88, formerly of Woodcrest Villa and New Holland, PA, passed away at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, PA, on Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was born in Fitchburg, MA to the late Adelard and Beatrice (Landry) Goquen. Lucille was the loving wife of Rene D. Rheault for 68 years. A graduate of St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg, MA, she also attended accounting school. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker for her family. She loved music and was a talented ballroom dancer. A very open, witty, sociable, intelligent and friendly lady, Lucille was known for her tremendous smile. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. In addition to her husband Rene, Lucille is survived by their two sons, Gary Rheault, husband of Sherri of Mesa, AZ, and Dr. Steven Rheault of Lancaster, PA; and their grandsons, Jason Rheault of Mesa, AZ and Brian Rheault, husband of Katie of Highley, AZ; their very dear family friend Dawn Groff of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews. Lucille's brother Gerad Goquen preceded her in death. A funeral mass will be held 12 PM Saturday, August 13, 2016 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601, with The Rev. Peter I. Hahn as Celebrant. A viewing will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday at the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
