Lucille E. Biese, 96, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Country Meadows in Lancaster. She was the wife of the late John J. Biese, who passed away in 2002. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Mary Longhi Bucci. Lucille had been a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She had served on the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary as well as being active in many charitable events and causes in the Lancaster community. She is survived by her sons: John W. married to Patricia Biese of East Berlin, PA and James L. married to Kathleen Lawrence of Lancaster; her 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dominic and Lawrence Bucci and her sisters Eleanor Pickering and Evelyn Guderian. Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 10-11AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA, with the Christian Prayer Service to follow at 11AM. Interment to follow in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
