Louna Pierre, 59, of Lancaster, and formerly of Haiti, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Born in Cabaret, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Andrelie (Germain) Dupervil. She was married for 29 years to Hugo Pierre.

Louna worked as a CNA for Brethren Village and Luther Acres. She did missionary work whenever she could, especially in her home country Haiti. She loved God and doing anything that was His work. She was loving, caring, giving, and selfless. She was an amazing cook and singer, and always made sure her family felt loved and taken care of. She was an excellent grandmother and always told you what was on her mind.

In addition to her husband Hugo, she is survived by 2 daughters: Joanna Pierre (Jhon Jeudy), and Lovena Pierre; 2 grandchildren: Janelle Pierre and Javon Pierre-Jeudy; brothers: J. Frantz, J. Pierre, J. Yonel, J. Eguentz, Voges, Ridol, and Mickerlange Dupervil; and sisters: Rose-Miracle, Marie-Nicole, Mitchela, Neglitte, and Gessie Dupervil, and Elsie Morinville.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Louna's life on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Guests will be received beginning at 9 AM. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
