Louise H. Shreiner, 88, of Lititz, died on June 1, 2025 at the United Zion Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of Reuben N. and Mary K. Fisher Harnish. She was a lifelong resident of Lancaster County. Louise was married to the late James M. Shreiner Sr., who passed away in 2018.
She graduated in 1954 from Lampeter-Strasburg High School. Then she worked in various secretarial positions throughout her life. She retired from the Lititz Borough office as a secretary-receptionist after 15 years employment.
Louise was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz. She was active in Stephen Ministries. She had also been involved with both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her card club. She was also skilled at a variety of crafts. Louise loved flowers! Her gardens were always beautiful.
Surviving are two daughters: Deborah L. Ney married to Mark of Lewes, DE and Sandra S. Kalnoski of Sinking Spring; a son, James M. Shreiner Jr. married to Adrienne L. of Landisville; 5 grandchildren: Jonathan K. Ney married to Jenny, Aaron J. Ney married to Karen Lee, Ciera E. Lebo married to Michael, Savana E. Strauss married to Timothy, and Robert T. Shreiner; 6 great grandchildren: Zara, Grant, Ensley, Clark, Conlan, and Kerrigan; and 6 grandpups. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Reuben and Martin Harnish.
Friends will be received by Louise's family on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10-11AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, PA 17543, with the Memorial Service to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Louise's memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church at the above address
