Loretta M. Haertter, 96, of Lititz, passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Luther Acres Nursing Home. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Anna (Lynch) Roth. Loretta was the wife of the late Richard R. Haertter who passed away in 2005.

Loretta was a homemaker. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She enjoyed Bingo.

Loretta is survived by 2 sons, Richard G. Haertter husband of Celeste of Silver Springs, and Joseph L. Haertter husband of Florence of Lancaster. 5 grandchildren. 9 great grandchildren, and a sister, Jeannette Rupp of Columbia.

She was preceded in death by 4 half brothers, George, Frank, Sylvester, and Bernard Roth, and 2 half sisters, Marie and Ann Roth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster 17603 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark E. Weiss as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received at the Church before the Mass from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
