Lois Arlene Heere, 78, of Willow Street, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2017 at her home. Born in Millport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin & Grace (Wanger) Hasselbach. Lois was the wife to the late Irvin Riley. She worked as a nurse at Conestoga View Nursing Home. Lois loved birds, flowers and a good cup of coffee with her friends. She was an avid reader. Lois enjoyed taking her dog, Angel, for walks on beautiful days. Surviving is a son, Duane Heere of Willow Street; a daughter, Jeannie Riley, longtime companion of Timothy Dennis, of Lancaster; and a sister, Cynthia Hasselbach of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Junie Heere; and two siblings: Benjamin Hasselbach and Barbara Martin. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Lois's name to an animal rescue of your choice.
