Lois G. "Dody" Locke, 79, of Hollinger Rd., Lancaster, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Charlestown, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Estelle Gillespie Gambino. She was the wife of Robert H. Locke and had 30 wonderful years of marriage.

Dody was an executive secretary for Allied Capitol Corp. and an attorneys office in Washington, D.C. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church were she was an usher.

Mrs. Locke volunteered at Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County for 17 years using her professional skills in the office and made many friends in her time there. She loved dogs and cats and to go shopping.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her three children, nine grandchildren, four sisters, and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her three sisters and two brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday March 6, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St., Lancaster at 11AM. Friends may be received at the church from 10AM until the time of service. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dody's memory to the Historic Preservation Trust, 123 N. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603. Arrangements by the Charles F.
