Lloyd E. Hershey, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, August 15 ^th , 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Green Land, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Lloyd B. and Bertha ( Ransbottom) Hershey. He was the husband of the late Florence ( Flory ) Hershey who passed away on October 31, 2003.

Mr. Hershey was employed as a Security Guard at Safe Harbor Water Power Corp. for 34 years before retiring in 1986. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Christian Business Men's Association and Grace Baptist Church. Lloyd was known for his good spirit  and wonderful sense of humor.

Surviving is a sister, Arlene E. Rosenberg of Baltimore MD. and many nieces and nephews.
