Lindy V. DeHart, 57, of Akron passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Ephrata Wellspan Hospital. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of Lucille (Engle) DeHart and the late John DeHart. He was the loving companion of Barbara A. Stricker.

He worked at K.T Graham Auto-Tech Service & Repair Shop in Ephrata for over 22 years.

Lindy loved Steven Seagel and the Die-Hard movies. He enjoyed building bird houses, watching NASCAR, and enjoyed vacationing with family at beaches and amusement parks.

He is survived by three daughters, Bobby Jo DeHart, Nicole DeHart-Leyva, Jalisa Sharie DeHart all of Akron; son, Christopher Aaron DeHart fiancé of Christopher David Herman of Ephrata; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Dale DeHart of Adamstown, Glenn DeHart of Ephrata; sister, Melody DeHart of Schaefferstown, PA and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Lee Engle.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 at 2PM. Interment will be private. Family and friends will be received from 1-2PM at the funeral home on Friday.
