Linda Marie Weitzel, 73, of Mountville, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Wilburt and Irene (Meeks) Rankin. She was married 41 years to her beloved husband Joseph Edward Weitzel, and together for 51 years.

Linda was a graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School and was a devoted homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, taking trips to the beach, and visiting Atlantic City. She also adored her cats.

In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by her daughter April L. Welty, brother Edward Rankin, 6 grandchildren: Bill Santiago, Talicia Ortiz, Michael Santiago, Arianna Jules, Samantha Weitzel, and Andrew Weitzel; and 5 great-grandchildren: Tyzir and Tiazha Lester, Taelynn and Tayvian Ortiz, and Michael Santiago, Jr. She was predeceased by her siblings Kenneth Rankin, James Rankin, and Brenda Rankin, and her daughter Stacey Welty.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 10 AM at Marticville Cemetery, 641 Marticville Rd, Pequea, PA 17565. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Linda's name to American Heart Association, heart.org .
