Linda L. Pitre, 53, of Florida, died Monday December 18, at North Ridge Medical Center.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Joseph Masters of Florida and the late Edith Rose Prince Masters. She was the wife of Lawrence E. Pitre who died in 2001.

Linda loved horses and was a standard bred horse trainer.  She was a former member of St. James Catholic Church, Lititz. Linda loved the church; she was a daily mass attendee, loved to sing in the choir, prayed the rosary, and traveled the world on religious pilgrimages. Linda loved spending time with her daughter, Jeanne- Marie and her dachshund, Max.

Surviving in addition to her father is her daughter, Jeanne-Marie Pitre at home; brothers: Daniel P. Masters, married to Carole J., of Michigan and Ronald M. Masters, married to Linda, of Wisconsin; her sister, Flora, married to Michael Forella, of Lititz; 14 nieces and nephews; and one great nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, on Saturday Dec. 23, at 11AM. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may be received on Friday at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, from 6-8PM and at St. James Church on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's memory to a Scholarship Fund for her daughter, Jeanne-Marie, C/o Wachovia Bank.
