Linda M. Painter, 70, of Myerstown and formerly of Lancaster, passed away on February 27, 2024 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Stanley W. and Shirley M. Zercher Urban.

Linda had worked as a cook for many years at the former Colonial Hall Retirement Community on Rider Ave. in Lancaster.

She was a talented baker and cook and if you came to visit, you were going to eat whether you were hungry or not. She enjoyed going to the Hollywood Casino and Dover Downs Casino, crocheting and sewing, diamond painting, and camping.

Linda is survived by her daughter: Stacy Urban of Myerstown; her granddaughter Brianna Bouder; her two great grandchildren Kenzie and Scarlotte; and her companion, Richard Rineer.
