Linda J. Benfer, 81, of Lancaster and formerly of Lebanon, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 23, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Marvin R. Benfer, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage this past July 7th. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean Auchenbach Falk.

Linda had worked as a supervisor for many years for the Everite Knitting Mills, as well as for Pacific Coast Knitting and Berkshire Mills.

Linda loved spending time with her family, was a kind and gentle person, and had a great sense of humor. She was a talented cook and anything she made was sure to be very good.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Dennis R. married to Kimberly Benfer of Moscow, PA and Cindy J. married to Gary Ross of Lititz,PA and by her 3 grandchildren: Tucker and Chandler Benfer, and Gian Toms. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin, and her brother, Dennis Falk.
