Lillian M. Simpson, 91, of Millersville, died at ManorCare on Sunday, October 10, 2010.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Florence Garden Gottselig. She was the wife of the late Vernon E. "Jerry" Simpson.

Lillian was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.

She was a buyer and sale associate in the dress department at the former Watt & Shand Department Store in Lancaster for 30 years.

Lillian was the owner of Lillian Simpson Dress Shop in Landisville.

Surviving are her two children: Vernon E. Jr. husband of Kathryn Simpson, Willow Street, Cynthia A. "Cindy" wife of Tim Bishop, Millersville, one grandson, Vernon E. Simpson III, Lancaster. Lillian was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George Street, Millersville on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 10:30 AM.
